Classes outline
Suzanna LeNir’s small classes and supportive attitude has created a safe
environment for students to explore their creative voice and push themselves
emotionally. There is a maximum of 6 students per class. The students are
paired up and assigned a scene from a popular film. Everyone participates in
discussing the initial reading with guidance from Suzanna. The following week
the students present the scene numerous times in different ways. This way
the work stays spontaneous and the actor broadens their range and develops
confidence in taking risks. The camera is incorporated into the workshop once
a month, so the students can develop their on-camera acting skills as well as
track their progress from an objective point of view.
Suzanna also provides private coaching for auditions. Her extensive
experience working with the top casting directors in the city provides the
students with ‘insider’ insight into audition technique. Her method has been
very successful in helping students land roles.
She works with all levels and the classes are divided by age and experience.
